Account and data deletion

The fastest route is the app itself: Settings → Delete account. We ask you to confirm, then remove everything at once — there is no grace period and no bin to restore from.

The action cannot be undone — we keep no copy your tasks could be restored from. If you want to keep something, write it down before you delete the account.

Everything that belongs to the account goes with it:

• tasks, goals and steps, dates and notes — including the ones already done,
• your conversation history with the assistant,
• your profile: name, working hours, reply style, custom names, chosen assistant voice,
• settings, consents and usage counters,
• your sign-in record and your subscription record at our billing provider.

• Billing and tax records — for the period required by tax law. They contain no task content.
• Crash reports, if any occurred — up to 90 days, with no task content.
• Database backups, from which the data expires on its own within 30 days.

Deleting the account does not end a subscription bought in an app store — the store bills it independently of us, and only you can stop it there.

• iPhone: system Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Saylight → Cancel subscription.
• Android: Google Play → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Saylight → Cancel.

Do this before deleting the account, so you do not pay for a service you no longer use.

Write to [email protected] from the email address the account was created with and ask us to delete it. We confirm that the request comes from the account owner and delete the data within 30 days at the latest — usually the same day. You get a confirmation by email.

• Conversation history only: Settings → Your data → Clear conversation history. Tasks are left untouched.
• A single task is deleted from its row on the list; undo is available for a moment afterwards.
• Consent to anonymous usage statistics and error reports: Settings → Your data, the switches can be turned off at any time.
